The Surge Foam Kayak Blocks OVAL in the XL size are designed to fit over most oval, elliptical or aero (wing) style roof racks to support (spread the load) and buffer/protect your kayak during transport. These are suited to wider kayaks being 56cm across e.g. Most recreational sit on tops or many river kayaks, (will also suit narrower kayaks so no need to buy both kinds).

Unlike many cradles this block is super quick to put on and take off your roof rack and can be easily stored in the car between uses freeing up the roof rack for other items when not carrying kayaks.

Made from durable minicell foam with molded channels that fit over your roof rack bars.
The V-shape cradles the hull of your kayak, protecting the boat and helping prevent side slip.
