Surge Rail Track High Profile 47cm Each

These are a single square profile 47cm long rail. These rails are found on some Surge kayaks, in various lengths and are normally inset into a moulded recess,

Some surge kayaks will be fitted or designed for a shallower track, This high profile track may be narrower and/or higher than existing tracks in some surge kayaks as well as a different length. Please check dimensions below.
Surge’s High Profile Track features 2 sliding insert nuts for securing accessories, end caps and 2 ovalised mounting slot/holes (to allow for existing mounting points).

These tracks or rails not have cut outs to allow removal of nuts from above and can therefore be cut to length however the end caps are fixed and will need removal if this is done. There are 2 cutouts for  mounting  the rail your kayak- hardware (not supplied) but they may need alteration if you have existing threaded mounting points.

This rail has fixed caps at each end and has a constant width track –
Dimension are approx 19.5 mm wide 19mm depth.
Track Opening width is approx. 8 mm

To secure to your kayaks several fastening methods are available including screwing into existing threads, nub bolt and washer and (should internal access not be possible) Cherry Rivets
