Surge Eco Nylon Spray Deck (Skirt) Std Sizes

A lightweight recreational spray skirt made from 400-denier polyurethane-coated nylon with a Gecko Grip elastic rim band to guarantee a watertight seal. Safety hook and front grab loop ensure the cover sticks to the coaming. The Waist is a Light Weight elastic Draw String with a Spring Loaded Toggle to secure. Coaming is secured with adjustable length 3mm shock cord

This skirt is available in a number of sizes for different size kayak cockpit coamings. To check the size you require measure the cockpit coaming at its longest and widest dimension from outside edge to outside edge. Pick the skirt that matches those dimensions. If your kayak sits at the upper end of the recommended size (i.e. you are at (or nearly at) the maximum on both the length and width dimensions it is often a good idea to size go up one size as these skirts don’t stretch and fitting the maximum can depend on the shape of the cockpit you will get a better fit slightly larger than to small.

A wide short cockpit may fit the same size of spraydeck as a long narrow cockpit. Use the largest dimension to determine which spraydeck to purchase. Or better yet, visit one of our dealers and try before you buy.

The shock cord that holds your nylon deck in place on your kayak and your waist is adjustable. You can tighten or release the shock cord to fit tighter or to fit a different size kayak cockpit or person . A well fitted nylon spraydeck will not have too much baggy material, however it may not be the easiest spraydeck to put on or might not stay on the best (if to tight).

Surge Skirts and Cockpit Covers are colour coded by size with the front pull tab webbing designating the size of the skirt or cover.
